Coming Up. . .

Registration for the 2010-2011 school year at Faith Lutheran High School is now open. Deadline for registration is April 15th; after April 15th the registration fee will increase.  Registration forma available at www.faithlhs.org  

 

Faith Lutheran High School will host an Open House and Registration for prospective students from 1-4PM on Sunday, March 7th.

 

TLC – Tender Loving Care is our preschool, before/after school program and summer camp. Brochures are available on this ministry. For more information, contact our director, Sue Hansen.

 

Sunday school grades three through high school meets at 9:15 a.m. Pre-school through second grade meets at 10:30 a.m. concurrent with the 2nd Worship Service.

 

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is an action packed week of Bible stories, music, crafts, and activities held the second week of June.

 

Confirmation is a two-year process for those entering 7th and 8th grade. The confirmands study God’s Word and Luther’s Small Catechism with the goal of strengthening their faith, understanding the teachings of the faith, and living out their faith in loving service.

 

Junior High Ministry is for 7th and 8th graders who join in Bible study, social and recreational activities, serve the Thanksgiving Eve dinner and Easter Morning breakfast, serve at the Elgin Soup Kitchen, bake goodies for the nursing home, attend a Winter retreat at Wal-Camp, assist at VBS, acolyte, and sing with Proclaim at worship.

 

High School Ministry is for 9th - 12th grade youth who join in Bible study, social and recreational activities, host a car wash/hair cut/food court event, sing with Proclaim at worship, participate in dramas, lock-ins, live Christmas Nativity, dramas, work at the PADs shelter, and join with the Junior High youth in serving the Thanksgiving Eve and Easter Morning meals.
